One-off sales for files, courses, presets, templates, and yes — coaching sessions too.

One-off sales for files, courses, presets, templates, and yes — coaching sessions too.

Products Overview lets you sell anything that doesn't need to ship: a PDF, a video course, a Lightroom preset pack, a Notion template, a downloadable beat. Customers pay, get the file delivered automatically, and you get paid out through Paid Products — no separate checkout page.

The same setup also works for booking-style products like coaching calls, consulting sessions, and 1:1 reviews. There isn't a dedicated "Consulting Session" product type yet, but the workaround below is what most creators are using.

Why creators use Markit for digital products

  • Sell to a list that already trusts you. Your buyers are your texters — conversion rates beat cold landing pages.
  • No separate tools. Product page, checkout, delivery, and post-purchase texts all live in one place.
  • Show up in Link in Bio. Every product gets a public page that pulls into your Link in Bio automatically.

Set it up

Start from Products Overview: go to Products → New product and pick the type that fits.

  1. Add a title, price, description, and cover image. Strong product photos and a clear "what you get" list are the biggest conversion levers.
  2. Upload your file(s) — Markit hosts the delivery, so buyers get a permanent download link.
  3. Choose how to promote it:
    • Pin it to your Link in Bio.
    • Send a launch text to your full list.
    • Add it as the upsell on another product's thank-you page.
  4. Hit Publish. The product page goes live with a checkout that takes Apple Pay, Google Pay, and card.

Payouts run on a regular schedule once you've connected a payout account. See Settings → Payouts for current intervals and minimums.

Coaching sessions and consulting

Markit doesn't have a "Consulting Session" product type yet, but you can run a clean booking flow with what's there today. Two common patterns:

Pattern 1 — Sell the session, schedule by text

  1. Create a Custom Product called something like "30-min strategy call".
  2. Set the price (e.g. $250), add a photo and write the description.
  3. In the post-purchase delivery, automatically send a short note: "Thanks! Reply to this text with a few times that work and we'll lock in a slot."

The buyer pays, gets the confirmation, and replies. The whole back-and-forth happens in your Markit conversations tab.

Same as above, but instead of asking for times by text, paste a Calendly / Cal.com / SavvyCal link in the delivery message.

The buyer pays, then books their time slot through the calendar tool.

You still see the purchase in Markit and can text them reminders.

Pattern 1 feels more personal and is what most coaches we talk to prefer. Pattern 2 scales better if you book a lot of sessions.

A native consulting/booking product type is on the roadmap — until then, these two flows cover it.

Open Link in Bio on your home page account icon and add a Products block. You can:

  • Show all products, or hand-pick a featured set.
  • Reorder with drag-and-drop.
  • Pin a single product when you're in a launch window.

When you create something new, it appears in Link in Bio automatically — no separate update needed.
