Common Use Cases

Create an event page / sell tickets

Build an event page, sell tickets, manage your guestlist, and text attendees — all without leaving Markit.

Create an event page / sell tickets

Everything Luma or Eventbrite does — plus every ticket buyer automatically joins your text list. Before, during, and after the event, you can reach every attendee by text from the same dashboard you sold tickets from.

Why creators use this

  • Every attendee becomes a subscriber. Ticket buyers join your text list automatically — your event builds your audience.
  • Full ticketing suite. Paid, free, approval-gated, and hidden tickets — plus promo codes, capacity limits, and revenue sharing with co-hosts.
  • Text before and after. Send a reminder the day before, a "doors open" update an hour out, and a follow-up the next morning — all automated.
  • Your events compound. The list you build from one event is how you fill the next one.

Set it up

Go to Products → New product → Event, add your details, create ticket types, and publish. Full walkthrough in Events.

Tips

  • Use request tickets for curated events. Approving attendees manually keeps the room right and creates perceived exclusivity.
  • Clone recurring events. Don't rebuild from scratch — clone the last one and update the date.
  • Run a promo code for your text list. Give subscribers early access or a discount before tickets go public.
