Platform Fees

Markit charges a 10% platform fee that is subtracted from each purchased membership.

Stripe Fees

Since all payment on Markit are process through Stripe, each purchased membership is also subjected to a 2.9% + $0.30 Stripe transaction fee. This transaction fee goes straight to Stripe and covers credit card processing fees.

Total Fees

Adding the Markit’s platform fee and Stripe’s transaction fee results in an overall fee of 12.9% + $0.30 subtracted from each purchased membership. Creators should account for this fee when setting their pricing, as this is subtracted from the creator’s earnings and payouts.
