Zero Additional Markit Platform Fees

Markit has zero additional platform fees for products and memberships. We believe creators should own their audience and keep the money they earn, and we wanted our fee structure to reflect that commitment.

Standard Stripe Transaction Fee

All payments on Markit are processed through Stripe. Each transaction is subject to a 3.12% + $0.30 standard Stripe transaction fee, which goes directly to Stripe to cover credit card processing. This fee applies to all memberships and products.

Event Ticketing Fees

All paid ticketed events are subject to a 2.88% + $1.29 fee per ticket. This fee is added to the purchaser’s total cost at checkout and is paid by the ticket buyer. All paid ticket transactions are also subject to the standard Stripe transaction fee, making the combined total 6.00% + $1.59 per ticket per ticket.

Product Order Fees

Markit does not charge an additional platform fee for product orders.

Product purchases are only subject to Stripe's standard processing fee.

Unlike paid event tickets, products do not include an additional ticketing fee on top of Stripe fees.

Membership Stripe Fees

Markit charges zero additional platform fees on memberships. However, all paid monthly membership transactions are subject to a standard Stripe recurring transaction fee of 0.5% per transaction in addition to the standard Stripe transaction fee, making the combined total 3.62% + $0.30 per recurring membership transaction.
