Stripe Payment Processing Fees

All payments on Markit are processed through Stripe. Every transaction includes a standard Stripe payment processing fee that goes directly to Stripe to cover credit card processing:

• One-time payments (products and event tickets): 3.12% + $0.30 per transaction.
• Recurring membership payments: 3.62% + $0.30 per transaction — the standard 3.12% plus Stripe's 0.5% recurring surcharge.

This Stripe processing fee is the baseline on every transaction. On top of it, a Markit platform fee may apply depending on the transaction type and your subscription plan — higher-tier plans come with lower platform fees so you keep more of what you earn. The sections below break these down.

Product Order Fees

For product sales, all fees are subtracted from the sale price — buyers pay the listed price with no additional fee shown at checkout. On top of the Stripe processing fee, the Markit platform fee varies by plan:
