Custom Profile URL

Growing your textable following on Markit is critical to getting the most out of the platform, and texting in general. The more contacts that you have in your Markit following, the higher volume of texts you will be able to send which will directly correlate with more conversions, engagement, etc.

One of the core ways we suggest growing your following is by sharing your Markit profile URL. Every creator has a customizable website that showcases their profile details, links, socials, and events, along with their Markit number. *Think of your Markit profile as a Linktree specialized for subcriptions.

Managing your Markit profile

Let's give you a quick tour of how to manage and edit your Markit profile, as well as what is included and customizable. To view your profile in creator mode on desktop, simply click on it in the top left corner of the screen at the top of your side nav column.

Here, you can mange several different screens via the tab navigation:

1. Public Profile: This is your publicly viewable profile. From here, you can share your profile link by clicking "Share Profile", and edit your profile details.
2. Welcome Flow: This is where you can manage your welcome flow, which include your Follow Text (text sent when someone follows you), and add form questions to collect info upon subscribe.

3. Share Number: For accounts with Markit+, this is where you can share your unique Markit number. Share this to socials, and more. You can also edit the text that is sent when someone directly texts your number.

4. Settings: Here you can find general settings for your account.

Sharing your Markit profile

When sharing your Markit profile, you are sharing a link to this public profile. When people visit this link, they will see your custom website, and can subscribe to your Markit account directly.
